It has long been an accepted fact that job hoppers do not mean reliability in a company. Companies would likely be on the losing end if they hire job hoppers. However, research now says it is otherwise. It is considered to be normal to have job hoppers in a company for a long time.
Companies need to know why job hoppers change from job to job. The article states that it could either be that they already have outgrown their company and no longer grow professionally in them. On the other hand, it might be that they had been separated for other reasons.
What is great with job hoppers is that they have myriad of skills that they have learned from their former workplaces. Thus, new employers can utilize these unlimited skill set for their company.
Employers should just weed out the “good” job hoppers from the “bad” ones. Who knows? The next top talent might be a job hopper. ~~ Lornajane Altura
