The tech industry is expected to see a shortage of senior-level IT professionals as companies welcome increased apprenticeship from new graduates and less skilled employees. A survey by Robert Walters reported that only 9 percent of junior IT specialists will be able to transition to senior management positions, while 36 percent of the employees will make it to middle management.
